Worse winter for a long time

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I feel sorry for my kids. They don't have any snow. We can't go skiing or play icehockey. Only a few days a year now with snow.

30 years ago, when I was 7, we had snow for months every year.

$hit weather.

Global warming. We're all going to die. Ho hum ...
Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,
Which is quite understandable.

Thank you. In my younger days when I took an interest it was all about a boy called Gretsky. 8)

34 deg C in my office today, ... average temps of about 33 for the rest of this month in Joeys I think, with very high humidity. But at least I'm not back in Welkom in the Free State, cos it's 38 deg C there today (and I'm sure the weather bureau have the thermometer in a fridge, cos generally whenever they said it was 38, it was more like 42 (in the shade, with yer bum in a cooler box).
I would LOVE some SNOW too!! And lordy, ICE HOCKEY, hell yeah!

Up in the mountains the skiiers are having a wonderous time... here at the beaches, rain rain rain.

Its funny seeing seeing SoCalians reactions to rain...

Drivers: "its wet, so roads are dangerous, therefore must drive faster"

TV: "Headline news! Rain hits Southern California. We go straight to our man at the beaches..... Paul, how's the weather? Thanks Tina, been raining here for almost 3 hours straight, and the weather center says there's more to come"

I particularly like the TV news term "localized flooding", which I've finally realized means "big puddles".
