in summer. it was due to heavy rains but now they forecast a hurricane :urff:

We've had some pretty horrific gales blowing - apparently it was hurricane force just up the coast, and if we have any members in Carlisle they'll be sitting in a dingy tonight, I presume.

Same over here. Started in south of Sweden yesterday. Killed 3 people there.

This morning we found our garden table deposited a good 15 feet from where it should be standing, in the middle of the lawn. :eek:

I heard on the news that there been some really rough weather in Latvia, and other Baltic states - I do hope you've not been hit too badly in Talin.

all schools and public buildings on the island closed. expect 112mph gusts (force 11) and flooding Tuesday and Wednesday

Here in York, the river Ouse is 4.3 metres higher than normal! :eek:
