The last gig you went to?

Now I know we're all rufty tufty Sisters fans, but what was the last gig you went to.........honestly

Mine was Laibach at the Electric Ballroom, first one I'd been to for years. I'd been wanting to see them for years but for one reason or the other I'd never made it so I got this in just before Christmas. After the decades of build up it was, well, OK. I never thought it would be quite so camp though!

Napalm Death at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio, where I bought a very nifty "Nazi Punks f**k Off" T-shirt :von:

i cant remember the last "big" gig i went to - probably the chameleons or something

there are very few bands around at the moment that i could be bothered forking out 20 quid for a ticket and going to see :urff:

the last "local" gig i went to was probably either the mighty "rhombus" or "uncle fester", both at the bassment...

both were ace :von:

hailing from blackpool & featuring ex-alien sex fiend member "ratfink" on drums, they play a very traditional and very honest pub/punk rock and are actually a lot cooler than you'd think 8)

Big gig: probably Basement Jaxx last year, most notable because Felix fell off the stage and cracked his head open during Where's Your Head At

Small Gig: My friend's electro gig. More of an excuse to get really pissed than anything else.

Well, big gig would have to be Status Quo. But we were sat so far away it was quite pointless.
Small gig would be The Damned about a month or two ago at the Drill Hall.

I hear tell the Buzzcocks are coming too, so try not to miss that one too, eh, Debaser? ;)

Trashcan Sinatras, last week, Islington Academy.

Prior to that, The Faint, Astoria, December and Nick Cave, Brixton, November.

Next up is Nightwish at the Astoria, providing Quiffy's boys do the business and knock West Ham out of the cup on Saturday.
