Ayr Pavillion? Wash your mouth out! I was at the Ferry seeing Re-genesis last October and I liked the place. Then again, I was pissed when I arrived and even more so when I left. It's hard to describe but as it's a boat, you do have the bonus of views of water all round. I'm not familiar with the Fall but if Mr Blast or anyone else fancies it, I could be persuaded.

Bloody hell! The Fall's line-up changes makes the Sisters seem stable in comparison.

Er, I quite like the Grand Old Opry as well. I last went a few years ago and the host was getting really pissed off at people talking while the raffle winners were being announced. He was being totally serious about it and that just made it funnier. Then it got too quiet for his liking so he told us all he'd "seen more fun at an Edinburgh wedding". It was a good night out.

me, i loved the pinky and the brain episode when they were at the old opry...
presenter says to brain "what would you say to dolly parton then brain?"
brain says "i think you were inordiantely blessed in youth"
pinky says "leather chafes me so..."
class. not for kids!!
off topic? moi???

It's a boat. It has a bar and a stage. Saw Kinky Freidman there with my dad. It's not so bad. If you like who is playing. Do you like who is playing?
(BTW - The last two Fall albums kick arse. Like they haven't since 1992)

I would love to see Johnny Clarke again, not too bothered about The Fall
