I have yet to have seen it - then again it "repeats" on BBC3 On Sunday night at 7pm - which is nice!

Not so sure about Billie Piper but I liked the wheelie bin.

Really liked it, think it works on a number of levels.

Ecclestone as well as being a great actor just works, quirky, alien, hot and cold emotions... cool.
The hour long individual episodes are more accessable for the Buffy generation.
Billie Piper was actually not too bad.
The icons that needed to be there were... Tardis, theme tune, Daleks etc...

Main thing is the peeps making it are fans and care about the subject.... fellow geeks

I thought Chris Eccleston was great.

Billy Piper didn't commit any major acting crimes, hang around with any ginger-media-type wankers, or attempt to sing.

Clive the conspiracy theorist (played by the "new-customers-only" advert guy) was amusing.

New Tardis interior was a little too giger-esque.

I thought it was fantastic. Christopher Eccleston was excellent - he certainly brought a light 'quirkiness' to the role that I wasn't expecting (I laughed out loud several times).

My only slight concern was whether the 45-minute format allows for as much depth to the storytelling as the old 4-part serials.

Yep, Ecclestone was very good. And Ms Piper will never be much more than eye-candy, which she did a fine job of.

Obviously it was Ethan's first taste of the good Doctor, and he loved it. He's five. And yes, he is aware that he may spend some Saturday evenings hiding behind the sofa. I don't think he'll dismiss the possible menace of the wheelie bin ever again.

Just caught up on BBC3 tonight -

I thought they did a great job, nice mix of humour and
scariness, considering it has to appeal to all ages...

Look forward to seeing it develop...and not a wobbly set in sight
