The Doctor Has left The Building....

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Loki was never worshiped as the other Gods,
Which is quite understandable.

Question.. is it better to have been the Doctor, or the Son of God?

He's changed into eleven different actors (I had an arguement about this earlier - it IS eleven.... just THINK about it, yeah?).
THAT'S a miracle 8)

Eleven? There's the original 7, then McGann & Ecclestone, that makes nine. Then Peter Cushing from the two movies, that's ten. Who's the 11th? (Didn't Rowan Atkinson play the Doctor in some cruddy comic relief special. Sorry, you're not having that as the 11th!)

The actor who played the prosecutor in one of Tom Baker's series (where he's on trial), I thought he was the evil incarnation? :?

Winner! :notworthy:
I'm counting the valeyard (whose name i STILL can't be bothered to look up....) because he *was* technically the doc. (albeit in many generation's time...)
Of course, you could always go with ye olde rumour that the master is also a future regeneration of the doctor. But we all know that's rubbish.

So it was! I got mixed up because i'm sure someone mentioned Tom Baker being on trial for a whole series :?:

(Hang on! Wasn't it footage of Tom, but Colin in the dock?)

There was footage of all the docs (IIRC) at various times - they went through all his "misdeeds" from every regeneration at some point. Was looking for the vidieo earlier and it's not where I left it

Is this including the stand-in for Hartnell for the episode(s) filmed after he died? I remember The Four Faces Of Doctor Who and I'm sure there was another episode featureing the first 5 doctors.

That would be "The Five Doctors" then!

Richard Hurndall played the first Doctor in that one.

Still think it's a bit poor jumping ship after only one series for fear of type casting. Three or four maybe, but the Doctor is a role you really need at least three years to develop.

Ah well, nowt to be done about it.
Ironically, it could be axed again before a third series!

PS

Just watched tonight's episode - I hope they paid some sort of royalties to
Douglas Adams estate. Sheesh!

And Richard E Grant?

And there was an episode where the doctor "de"-gengerated thru a number of previous generations, about 5 or so.

Well, at least we still got Billie Piper
