Just for those of us missing Black Horizons' pointless polls...

I'm going for parsley. Because of Parsley the Lion in The Herb Garden.

Mint and basil both are good.. but I like chives best because of the name and flavour.

Mint. The only one, that goes well with strawberries.

Cumin isn't a herb; it's a spice.

Wheras a banana is a herb and not a fruit. Or to be pedantic its a tri-chromosomed pseudo fruit.

'strue. Trust me; I'm an ex-chef :innocent:

Absolutely! No dill? C'mon MF, if that's the extent of your herblore I guess I won't be inviting myself round to yours for tea.

'I'm Dill the Dog
I'm a Dog called Dill
I'm rather small and furry
and I'm always in a hurry.'

Wacked out indeed. :notworthy:

Aah. Off the top of my head:

Parsley the lion
Dill the dog
Bayleaf the gardener
Lady Rosemary (and Lord Basil?)
Sage the owl
Tarragon the dragon

Classic stuff. I could probably sing the theme tunes for each character if pushed...

For some reason wife-collecting doesn't freak me out, whereas animated herbs set to music put the fear of god in me. I found out years later that my cousin was scared of The Herb Garden as well so maybe it's genetic :?

You forgot Aunty Mint - I eventually overcame my fear and started watching it.

Yeah, all well and good but what was the 'secret word' to open the door to the Herb garden?

"Open up, It's the Pigs!"

Or have I got the wrong herb garden?
