I'm going for parsley. Because of Parsley the Lion in The Herb Garden.

Mint and basil both are good.. but I like chives best because of the name and flavour.

Parsley the lion
Dill the dog
Bayleaf the gardener
Lady Rosemary (and Lord Basil?)
Sage the owl
Tarragon the dragon
Classic stuff. I could probably sing the theme tunes for each character if pushed...

For some reason wife-collecting doesn't freak me out, whereas animated herbs set to music put the fear of god in me. I found out years later that my cousin was scared of The Herb Garden as well so maybe it's genetic
