Bands You'd Like To See Against The Wall Rev 2.0

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I would put on there the entire content of the local radio station here, METRO FM
They repeatedly play the same, supposedly 'researched' rubbish day in day out, its's like a badly programmed iPOD on repeat!
I'm sure they're all the same!

Personally, I take my hat off to anyone who's prepared to get up on stage and give it a go. Yes, even that drunken pub singer at Burley Liberal Club last Friday...
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

all those whinging shoe-gazer bands who for some reason manage to write about their "emotions" without putting across anything but a "why don't nice girls like me?" feeling of insipid self-pity...
...and all those sub-punk guitar bands who seem to think we wont notice that theyve utterly failed to disguise the(superior)riff theyve stolen...
...and most of the nu-metal bands for being neither metal nor able to spell new...
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

AC/DC - Why is this band so popular? Their songs feature some of the worst singing I've ever heard, and Angus Young is the most over-rated guitarist ever. And he looks stupid in that school outfit.

System Of A Down - Why are they headlining one of the the biggest rock festivals in Europe (Download)? Not even one good song.

Feeder - ditto above. The song that goes "I've got a brand new car, it's got a CD player...etc..." is about as good as it gets. :|

All of the above plus: Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs, The Futureheads, The Others, The Streets (basically all that c**p featured in NME), HIM, Oasis, system Of A Down, Scorpions (the previous one and version 2004) and loads of others. I am very fussy!!!

Ouh, so many band I'd like to put against the wall...
But I'd like to give a special award to all those who have turned the very perfect radio station we had in Belgium, Studio Brussel, into just another mediocre radio station with an overall commercial programme (except for some quality programs late at night, when you've got much better things to do instead of listening to your radio)
As for the rest, I'm glad to agree to most of the bands, if not all mentioned before
Styles are a lie.

YES! Sick to hell of hearing about them. When they started selling tix forthe uk tour my friends list on lj was swamped and I got "OMG!!!!-ing" IMs asking if i'd gotten tickets for it :urff:

garbage - load of wank.
Queen adreena - even worse
evanescen...nescscs... that shreiky woman. - *kicks*
Any band that thinks it's Nightwish - BUGGER! OFF! There's about 80 of them and they're all crap. Even nightwish at their best are a mediocre second-best to Lacrimosa.
The dresden dolls - I actually kinda like this lot, but they're SO overrated. If I see one more whingeing bastard claim they're "the girl anachronism" (no, I'm not going to spellcheck that.) I will kill them, folowed by everyone else on the planet.
Pulp - Is it just me, or does everyone from Sheffield have to explain on a daily basis that they have no interest in this band?
coctau twins - can't sing, don't sing.
VNV nation - much as I love a bit of excited badger music (i'll give you a minute to think about that one), this lot are just... wank. proper wank. Loved by everyone 'cept me.

Right, That's me started. I'm going to go slaughter the innocent now...

Marilyn Manson - good call
McFly - it pains me even to have to type their name
Oasis - still crap after all these years
and hundreds of others...
What are we gonna do now then?

Go on my son, someone who knows the score...

Saw 'em in wolves back on the spiral tour about 93, they were a perfectly fine live act, buuuuuuut... I'm so tired of every little fugger in a NIN shirt claiming to like industrial music. Stick 'em in a room and play 'em some puppy followed by some gristle followed by some whitehouse....

Though I suppose none of that's Trent's fault, his lyrics however are his fault, and he needs prosecuting for them.
