Now if only they'd hurry up and announce a UK date before I go and shell out for a ticket to the Tilburg gig

Indeed, strange: no proof of it on the
http://www.x-tra.ch site but you can order tickets for the More Than Mode Spezial.
What the hell is that for a tourname?!
And what kind of logo will there be designed??

More Than Mode Spezial
This is the name of some goth/electro events at X-tra, not the name of the tour.
Look to the right at:

the tour will be called 'Amphetamine Snorkle Hoover" and the logo will be a white on black line drawing of Mr. E's ass.
Inside a star and cog,
of course

If that helps as long as there's no other proof: A guy from the Xtra crew confirmed they're playing.
Ha! They're coming back *jumpingupanddown*

Has anyone been to the Zurich venue? What is it like?

I spend a lot of time there....
It's a venue close to the main train station, it contains a hotel, a restaurant/bar, and on the first floor a venue which can take about 1500 to 2000 people IIRC, wooden floor, two bars inside that hall, sometimes they also open up upstairs (second floor), there's a kind of balcony where you can look down onto the dancefloor and stage.
It is a rectancle and the stage is at the front end, on one of the two shorter sides, at the rear end (second of the two shorter sides), are the entrances (2).
Usually on wednesdays they do parties (= "More Than Mode" parties: futurepop, synthpop, wave, sometimes gothic), so it's open until at least 03h in the morning. And there are several take aways (burgers, kebabs, pizza) nearby, which are the most favourite among students in Zurich.
Also nearby is the redlight district and some of the drug scene. I never have problems there, even if I walk back home at 3h in the morning, on my own, in a mini skirt, but if anybody of you should play with the thought of coming by car, I'd advice you not to leave anything of value in the car.
If you have anymore questions, here I am.

You're very welcome down here. And if you prefer to avoid the all-night-open-take-away-or-sit-in places, there are also plenty of incredibly expensive restaurants around, that close around midnight, where you can have fondue, raclette, röschti and bratwurst, or röschti and zürigschnätzlets (at your own peril!) etc. There's something for every taste.
And, if you spend more than one night in this town, given the fact it's in summer, if you can swim bring your swim suit. There's a clean river and a clean lake to hang around in and swim.
I'll shut up now...
