2005-08-12 - Love Planet Festival (Czech Republic)

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Das machte viele Leute sehr wütend und wurde allenthalben als Schritt in die falsche Richtung angesehen."

I bet N.Cave, Kosheen, and Apocalyptica won't all play on the same day as TSOM. And if I go there (and I intend to), I want to drive straight to M'Era Luna. But I checked on the map, and it's a long way. With the Sisters playing on the 12th and me moving on 13th in the morning, it's possible. But what if any of the 3 above play on the 13th and I'm tempted to stay? Will I get to Hildesheim on time? Has anybody considered a similar plan? What do you think? :?

I've thought it over. It's impossible. At M'era Luna, if I want to go to the front row, I'll have to start trying to get there at least 2 bands before the Sisters . Oh well. After all Nick Cave is boring, Kosheen I can do without, and Apocalyptica I've seen before. Sory Batory, I'll see you somewhere else someday. Maybe. As long as the Sisters play there too.

No, I'm just trying to reassure myself that I'm making the right decision. And I do like Nick Cave a lot.

But still, compared to the sisters he's boring.

well, ticket price is aprox. 30 €, for 2 days, which is over 50% less compared to the M' Era Luna..

yeah, I saw them there too (1998) - the sound was crap and the gig - too short, but they have really cheap beer over there!!! And I think they will make more effort in getting a proper PA this time (it is a festival, so they should!) 8)
