Some friends and I are having a little straw poll to see who we think are the toughest people in music.

My list:
1. GG Allin
2. Keith Richards
3. Dead (Mayhem)
4. Johnny Cash
5. Lemmy (motorhead)

Your lists, opinions, etc please...

Remember, only 5.

I reckon I could have Johnny Cash in a straight fight. Henry Rollins THINKS he's hard, but he's not. John Bonham WAS hard, but is now as dead as Cash. I hear Avril Lavigne has been in some nasty fights, though...

tough in a broader sense of the word, not just fights, but general lifestyle.

This is very difficult - I like goth music (sorry about the "g" word  ) and they do tend towards the fey - :von: ; Pete Murphy - I mean...they're not what you would call built are they?

....and I recently saw Motorhead - Lemmy had a bad foot........well, he's not going to do much damage is he?!!? Although, in his heydey, on a good lump of speed........!

Iggy likes a lie down and a good read  (I saw the documentary on the South Bank Show recently).

Still, there's always the lads from Rammstein - they have fire
