I can't see one band on that list that I really like.

Most the bands on the list I hate, the rest I'm neutral about.

I don't know what the fnck Bob Geldof's up to; have you seen him on the news, trying to incite a riot at the G8 summit?

He's lost it somewhat innit?

I'm dreading the Spice Girls reunion.

Spice Girls turned most the girls in my school into sexist monsters.

don't worry. there will be plenty of places to escape to. go to the vatican on the day, other people won't.
there's lots to see outside the city. naples is only two hours away on the train!

:D I think the Vatican is closed on Saturdays? I've not been there before, but been told it's closes on certain days. Hopefully it'll be quiet everywhere, but thinking about eating out on that day will be mad :(

Only Placebo and Muse interest me out of those listed and I don't even particularly care for the latter that much. However, I think the list is fine. They want to make money for charity, so there's nought wrong with putting out a line-up which the unwashed masses will want to see. A damn shame, but it makes business sense.

It'll be on the telly.

I'm slightly at a loss as to what the point is....given that it's not about raising money then obviously there'll be no "Give us you feckin' money" type outbursts. "Show us your feckin' awareness of things" is a bit woolly. I can't see the whole thing having any effect really.

And I agree that Geldof calling for a mass march and likely battle is more than a bit irresponsible. Hopefully it won't kick off.

Some non-goths, some not-at-all-goths, and some people who'd NEVER take speed.
And of course, we can't forget these loveable people can we?

And they can be supported by:

Some ambient guy, some rock god copycats, a few goth rock dudes, a group of heretics, and us.
