First of all, I can't help it if I'm an a--hole.

Other than that, I must say, it is a credit to the genius of Eldritch that his music made Goth pallatable to a wider audience.

And, let's face it, although he may have worn a beard and white suit for a while, at least he never got around in a triangular, pointed goatee beard and frilly shirt as though he thought he was part of some sort of Gothic Three Musketeers.... unlike some of the dudes at the following distasteful link.

As they say back on the farm, "underneath every ponytail is an a--hole".

Guess what, kids? I KNOW several people in that very first pic. As a matter of fact, I see a couple of them pretty regularly... *Gulp*

Small world! The guy in the foreground in that photo is from Sydney, Australia. So is the girl who is prominent in some of the pix. The angst-y, Freudian-looking dude with the pointed goatee beard is a goose no matter where he's from. Is it any wonder that so many bands have distanced themselves form the goth thing?

Deine Lakaien AND Lacrimosa?!

f**king jammy gits.
I'd slaughter the innocent to see one of them, but BOTH?!
