I dare you to stand at the front, and repeatedly shout for 'Serpents Kiss'.

Quiffy, why not just be honest and post it as a Black Wire thread in General Chat?

he's got a point...but only in as much as this robochrist geezer was widely ridiculed by (some of) the faithful when the rumours came out.
now i'm sure he'll be quickly elevated to god-like status;after all-he is one of the sisters.
...until he gets sacked of course and makes his way to the slagging-off status much loved by said faithful(except
gary marx, who was,is and forever wiil be
)

i've always thought that the cartoon-esque "robochrist" alter ego would make a good additin to teh sisters stage show - liven the miserable old bastard up a bit
could all go horribly wrong though and turn them into the murder dolls or some other such OTT sillyness.
fortunately though, its not "robochrist" thats joining the sisters - its chris. same person but different persona. chris comes with a natty pair of side burns (usually) and an ice-like stare.
at the end of the day he's only a hired hand anyway - and i doubt he will be given that much freedom of expression or allowed to deviate from eldritch's prescribed guitar sounds.
shame tim b. turned him down...

This is new. Was Tim asked to play the summer gigs, or am I misreading that comment?

Talking of the Murderdolls, I listened to them again today for the first time in ages. I had nothing but revision sessions today, and a few teachers let us listen to our mp3 players and CD players (and in my case yesterday when my mp3 player ran out of batteries, my Walkman).
I gotta say, the idea of Von going on stage singing a cover of the Muderdolls' "Love At First Fright" is a most appealing idea.
When I saw you p*ss on the rug
My heart fluttered and I knew it was love
True love
And all the things you said and did to your mom
And I knew you were the only one
The only one for me
I'm gonna call the priest
So he can exorcise me
Oh, be my ghoul tonight!
Regan it was love at first fright!
First fright!
Love at frist fright etc..
This is what happens when my non-goth, non-industrial, non-new romantic and non-power metal sides are hidden.

I have heard of portable players, about 1.5x or 2x bigger than a CD player, which can play 7"s and flexis. I wouldn't mind one of them.. Long Train on the move.

Robochrist rocks!
I saw him do his thing in Boro yesterday. It was a highly entertaining fifteen minute barrage of noise, banging techno, telly samples and thrashy guitars.
Go and see him and see what all the fuss is about!
