amusing review of a robochrist gig

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

A horned man of gold thrashing a guitar over opera and children's telly samples for twenty minutes; to be honest it's hard to know what to say. It's probably the kind of music David Cronemburg listens to.

Robochrist just played at my local !
We spoke briefly, and I couldn't resist asking him something about the upcoming Sisters gigs. I got straight to the point and asked him what kind of setlist will be played and will there be any surprises? He paused for a moment, then looked at me sheepishly and just replied "it's a good set." Make of that what you will. Then we shook hands, I said I'd see him on tour, he said "see you there, should be fun!"
Top geezer!
:notworthy:

Edit: He also mentioned that Mera Luna will be the last gig of the tour. Looks like there won't be any UK dates for a while. :|

Thank you Scardwel - I'll not hold me breath then
I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.
