Fashion Police

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Spotted this anomaly in an otherwise respectable alternative fashion outlet. Thanks to Nadine for technological prowess.

The song titles on the back match, I think, the SGWBM listing. Shameless cash in? Don't RH have a patent on the name, or something? How can horrors like this propagate?

The leg is most likely from Gray's anatomy (as the head was).

I don't think it is - you don't dissect a leg like that.

It looks more like a wire-frame drawing of an orthopaedic device.

and honestly motz:do you think the kind of research/knowledge of the girls that a reference as subtle as that would imply has gone into this?

Unless these lovely gals does: http://www.mercync.org/sisters_of_mercy ... ericas.htm

"We're Sisters of Mercy and in many ways we're not as different as you might think. We can be young, middle-aged, or seniors; enthusiastic or stubborn; fun-loving or reserved"

I think at least "senior, stubborn and reserved" describes our hero very well.

I'm just showing my support for the Sisters, those loveable nuns..

Besides, all the bootleg covers are entertaining and often better than official covers, so why not the t-shirts too? :P
