Monochrome palazograssi CD - misdated?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Does anyone know the real date for the tracks on the Monochrome CD which are listed as being live on 06-04-83?

I had always understood that they were from Brixton Ace 19-02-83, but that clearly isn't the case, while there was supposedly never a gig on 06-04-83, so where and when were they really recorded?

Any sad obsessives (like me) out there who know the truth?!
Is this the place I used to know as Fatherland?

The gig did take place and the bootleg is accurate.

Mine copy claims to be number 1414 of 1526

My copy of Victims of Circumstance isn't numbered, although it does a big white space after the words "Limited Edition of 1000. Your Copy:"

I won it. This is number 0185 out of 1526.

I'd only accept a Victims Of circumstance to be the best if Mr Marx gave it to me personally. ;)

And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

They're "messing with your head, man" (I only say this because I have had it thrown at me numerous times when off my head :D )
I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.

Here it is, spinning at 33rpm on my player, absolutely f**king incredible.

It's that little bit faster and higher than the mp3s, and just plain :notworthy:
