Leeds-Gatwick

An ignorant question.
Related to the Smurphs gig on Oct, 9. :von:
Have any of you experienced to drive (using a bus or train) from Leeds to London Gatwick Airport?
If yes, could you tell me how much time it would take?
I'd like to book my Tallinn-London and London-Tallinn tickets and want to know is it possible to arrive on Gatwick on 4 PM the next day after Smurphs gig. Or should I book my London-Tallinn ticket for Oct, 11 (which would be a bit more complicated because I have no holidays)?
Sorry if it was very stupid question :?

Haven't we had this conversation in PM? Yes, I'll get you there. 2.5hr Leeds to London. 0.5hr across London. 20mins Victoria to Gatwick. 2hrs checkin. Just be here. 8)

Assuming the trains run on time.

Just get your Estonian arse over here. I know you're here prior to that weekend and all the offers are still open. Whatever you wanna do.

I'll be driving up to Leeds with Christian and Jessica and you :P after Bloc Party in Cambridge on the saturday to see the Smurphs on the Sunday.

On the Monday I'll drop them at Stansted and take you to Gatwick. Sorted. 8)

Now all we need is a kind-hearted kindred soul in the PRWY with floor space to help us out ... :innocent:

By the way, who are Christian and Jessica? Is it the same Christian I met in Berlin on Sisters 2003 tour? Would be nice to meet you.
(By the way, I'll be in Berlin more than once in August. Any suggestions to the evening of the 3rd of August are welcome :innocent: )

I could throw a hissy fit for you posting that in public forum before asking me in private but, fortunately, I'm not that prickly.

Mi casa, su casa. Wherever that turns out to be come October.

I'm afraid it goes with the territory. Once you hit Gonzoid, you're fair game for a bit of bullying into a Leeds-based Heartland meet.

It's not really like that scene off An American Werewolf in London. Honest.

Oooh! Get you, Ms Carey.

No doubt we'll sort something out though. I'm sure yours, Pikkrong's and Christian's presence will be suitably catered for. :notworthy:

Fortunately, I know that John's not too proud to sleep in the cubby-hole under the stairs. Especially after I've kept him up til the dawn chorus and smoked all his cigarettes.
