i'm thinking of creating a temporary forum area specifically for 2005 gig related stuff - live reviews, tour diaries/journals etc etc
it would be archived (read: locked) after the tour, and probably quoted heavily on the http://tours.tsom.org/ website (and the sisters wiki)
waddya reckon? will anyone thats doing a lot of the dates be arsed enough to write anything? will they even be near a pc?
the 2005 tour - new area for thoughts, reviews etc?

I could try that excuse, but I don't think they've ever seen me enthusiastic about getting a papernick the stripper wrote:I've yet to ask my parents.
Maybe I could catch a train up to Leeds, see the gig and comeback. If my parents ask me where I've been I can just say I was out getting the paper.
It worked before... kinda.

Don't worry, QB, you'll soon get the hang of this intraweb thingy
sounds like a good idea - maybe with an understanding that anything posted on the 2005 Tour section may be archived onto the Sisters Wiki?Quiff Boy wrote:i'm thinking of creating a temporary forum area specifically for 2005 gig related stuff - live reviews, tour diaries/journals etc etc

cool
i've created a new area for it and i'll create a thread for each date, which will be locked to start with (to discourage off-topic banter) - they will become unlocked nearer the day of the gig.
they will be "sticky" so that the remain at the top, where as people's general comments, diary entries, whatever, can be underneath, as normal.
and all off topic posts will be moved or deleted, whichever is easier at the time
the purpose of this is to create a "historical document" that charts the 2005 automn tour, and people's reactions and experiences over the couple of week period.
thanks in advance

Good idea.
I'm doing Leeds, Tilburg, Lokeren, Zurich and Vienna with buddies so should heve plenty of reviews, photos and stories etc to share as I hit my 39 gigs milestone. If it wasn't for the final of BB6 I'd make 40!

Great idea indeed
I'm going to Tilburg and Lokeren, and planned to write something for my own site (not that anyone ever visits it, but its just to have it archived and so ) too, and I'd be glad to contribute to all of this
I'll try to sneak a (phone with decent) camera inside and all that too, so...
