Why "Celebrity Plane Crash"?

Now that the name is out, I guess there's no harm in dissecting it. Obviously "Near-Meth Experience" was a pun on Near-Death and NME, but I can't see anything glaringly obvious, though with it being Von it would be silly to expect the obvious.

However, looking at a Plane Crash that became a Celebrity in its own right, rather than a crash involving a Celebrity, this could be a reference to 9/11.

Just something to ponder.

No, Quiffy has something to do with it, from his old avatar and link in his sig.

Why he'd want to talk to Eldritch, I don't know, but...

sadly not ;D

i was told about the gig and the assumed name, so chose the avatar etc based on that.

i wondered if the gig would be announced on any local music/gig websites, and that if i hinted enough, woudl anyone make the connection?

obviously i was a bit too obscure, and the gig wasnt announced anywhere, under any name, until the end of last week  :D

Yeah. Unless Mr Marx or Choque or Mr Pearson have a spare room, I'm not gonna be able to make it. :P

Actually, just wondering, does Gary ever go see them when they play in Leeds :?:

Although I didn't see him myself I have it on good authority that Mr Marx attended the Eldritch/Utah Saints gig in 1993. With The m*****n also on the bill that would put Messrs Eldritch, Hussey & Marx in the same building at the same time! :D

Why was I not informed you took advantage of Berlin's new brothels?
And furthermore, why wasn't I invited?

"Seven shades of Shiva rising, lets do the War On Terror", maybe?

I was there & blagged my way into VIP, When Mr Marx arrived we started chatting before & during the Utah set also chatting to Von when he arrived & they gladly signed my ticket stub. :notworthy:

Because I'd prefer not to share you :innocent:

Maybe they're delving back into older lyrics?

from what comments i remember in various interviews, mr marx/pearson has attended one or two gigs since his departure, and even in the fairly recent in the past (in sisters terms ) but is unable to go this time. i emailed him but by all accounts he's not actually around tomorrow evening.

mr hosein is likewise "otherwise engaged" - in studio activities i believe. though he did consider pressing the pause button and showing his face specifically so that he could have a heckle  :D

it was announced exactly 2 days too late for me
I even calculated a desperate Tallinn-London-Leeds-Liverpool (or London or smth) - Berlin trip but it would be cheating my fellows, had no time to warn them about changes.

You know, I'd never thought of that.

I've heard far worse interpretations of Sisters material.

Many of them on here!
