You're obviously not trying! I used to live in Nottingham until last year - walking across the dance floor at Rock City to get a pint was like crossing a school playground.

I went to Nottingham University from 1984-1987, and that is a perfect description of Rock City. I went to Select-A-Disc last year and was really dissappointed, it had changed from a cool punk/alternative/goth/metal shop to nearly all dance music :urff:

Don't think its an 18 plus at Liverpool Uni.

But that is an awfully long way to go to see a 10th rate covers band

there's actually about ~60 "active" regular posters (look at the stats and top 50s), and about another ~30 regular lurkers who are logged-in, and gawd knows how many other lurkers and browsers that arent logged-in.

Harsh! But true.

I swear I spotted you last night and was just about to pounce and snog you to death. Then I realised that all my concentration was focused on staying vertical.

Obviously my concentration left the building later in the evening ...

Then I'm glad there was at least one person that managed to go the entire evening without feeling the effect of your "pounce". ;)
