...yes, tomorrow is apparently Brighton's annual Gay Pride march, which means that it's impossible to get into town to do my essential weekly trawl round the record shops, so I'll be spending the day drinking tea in my backgarden instead.

you have enough records Paul, and may I suggest something stronger than tea?
unless you mean 'tea' in The Rutles sense?

I've just started to track down stuff by the US Death Rock bands like Voodoo Church - there's a whole new subgenre of records (and CDs) that I must own...
but James, I may well take up your suggestion and treat myself to something a little stronger than a cup of tea.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.

I am not a Death Metaller. No, no, no.
I'm talking about Death Rock which is quite a different thing entirely, and you don't require the entire contents of a scrabble bag to spell out the band names.
Although it has to be said that Libby did indeed play me 45 Grave and pique my interest in the whole thing.

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"
