Official Merchandising

hi everybody,
One of my first messages on this forum ... And it feels good to be here finally!
I'm searching for official merchandise from The Sisters/The Reptile House/Merciful Release.
Does anyone know if they still reply to mail sent to their address?
Or is there anybody who has a recent catalogue or an email address to contact them?
Because I tried a few months ago, but no answer given ....
Thx

The Reptile House PO Box address seems to have died.
We had a thread about it
here although (as usual) it got sidetracked.

Don't tease the newbies!
Infact, stuff that, let's get a sign that says "Beware of the Blast!"

Which would no doubt get defaced with a picture of a mushroom cloud anthropomorphized to resemble your own visage the moment that d00meh got five minutes in photoshop

Great! How did you find that out? I was trying so hard to hide the fact that I am new around here.
(Guess I made a tiny mistake somewhere along the way)
Oh no, now they know
, you mustn't have said this out loud (PM me instead)
Must go now ... scared ... can't ... stop ... shivering ... Must ... Have ... Mushroomclouds ...AAAAArgh !
Nice Mushroom!
I cannot wait to see that anthropomorphized picture.
Now Seriously, does anyone has a clue if The Reptile House is still in business?

As mentioned above, the PO Box appears to be abandoned, which would suggest that they aren't currently operating.

So I know, but maybe my question wasn't quit clear (my own mistake, I know)
what I'm trying to find is a or the "store" that sells the merchandise from this tour 2005 (and maybe the 2003 tour), whether it is The Reptile House or any other... (it seemed logic to me that I needed to contact TRH, without any luck for the reason given above)
The guy from the merchandise-shop @ Lokeren told me that there was a possibility to order online but he didn't knew any details and told me to come back later. But when I got back at the shop, they were already gone...
So I guessed that there was/is a possibility that maybe someone on this forum has an idea...
(There is also the possibility that the guy just told me something to look interesting ...
)

at this point in time there is nowhere you can buy any official sisters merchandise other than at the shows. this has been the case for a few years.
there is no online store, and the reptile house stopped answering its post and emails long ago.
the merchandise stalls at sisters gigs are your only option.
if someone on a merchandise stall told you different, they are either wrong, lying or they know something about eldritch's future plans for online sales that we dont.
regardless, there is no way to get stuff now that the tour is finished...

That does kind of beg the question of "What happens to the stuff that was left?" Unless of course they sold every last single thing....... anyone know the answer to that one?

On previous tours they've sold off old merchandise (including old backstage passes) at bargain prices. I managed to pick up a Vision Thing "all over" tee for 5 quid, and a 'To The Planet Edge' tour laminate for a quid!
They still had plenty of shirts left after Mera Luna, so look out for some good deals at the 25th anniversary gig(s).

When I was at the merchandising stall in Lokeren it was Sven who sold me the tees. He's a belgian guy who had taken photos during previous tours and as far as I know he is one of the "in-crowd" or at least used to be. If it was him who said that, he might indeed know more than we do.

The guy at the merchandise was the tour coach driver who'd been roped into to help out. The RH has slimmed down its catalogue a lot but stuff sometimes reappers at gigs depending on what they fancy bringing along.

Not sure if you peeps are interested but T-Shirt Grill has the 'f**k Me & Marry Me Young' t-shirt. They supply t-shirts to HMV etc so if anyone is after what could be described as 'semi official' Sisters tees here's the place

looks very much like one i bought from an australian guy on ebay a while ago (for ten quid).
i know its not a photo so it might not be 100% accurate as per the real too, but looking at the picture there's no "the" on the band name at the top (running through the MR logo) so i suspect its not official...
but as you say, if they supply hmv... very odd
its a nice tee nonetheless. good quality print etc

I've seen that before! It's been in a few shops here and there...
Definitely not official. Guaranteed unguaranteed.

They do all the retro T-Rex t-shirts etc in HMV/Virgin. I just thought that all the lads/lasses who keep enquiring as to merchandise etc should try here.. It would be interesting to know what copyright if any Von has on these designs...? I dare say he has all bases covered.
There was a time when you could pick up the official Sisters t-shirts in Kensington Market in ye olde early 90's... Got a lovely American tour one... and zippo lighter..... Oh them were the days....

I bought a Sisters top in Nottingham. They had a Merciful Release t-shirt, a FALAA one too, but I bought one with a head-and-star with "The Sisters Of Mercy" instead of "Merciful Release" on the front, and an Overbombing-era person design on the back.
Probably not official, but hey, it's worth it.

I've got the same one, bought for me by well-meaning relatives. Not official.
I do have a '93 Overbombing Tour shirt, which is. ahem.

Well, you know.. Who am I to care about official things? I've spent all morning giddily showing off my flexi.

You've gone through the Fanatic Collector's range, and out the other side...a strange world where music is looked at but never heard.

There's a guy who can identify classical recordings on vinyl just by looking at the grooves.
Clicky.
