New Nephilim release?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Heard this sort of thing before  ,but perhaps this time? :urff: .
Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

Nephilim (possibly), NMA (confirmed) and Bauhaus (whispers from Murphy) releases?

Come on Andrew, get with the times :innocent:

It says 'stay tuned for exciting news' on the SPV (record label) website. :)

Which must mean the record must be good, rather than a tired effort by a sadly diminished one-man band to re-tread and reclaim the prog-trance heights scaled by 'Elyzium'. :|

Otherwise it would just say 'stay tuned for tediously inevitable news', wouldn't it? :(

After months of rumour and speculation, the Watchman can exclusively reveal
that the new album from The Nephilim is set to be unleashed on the world in early 2005.
It is a natural progression of the band's classic sound which crescendoed
as far back as 1991 with the release of the hugely successful album
'Elizium'. News of The Nephilim's reanimation will come as a delight to all those
who have waited patiently for the next chapter in the name of the Nephilim.

In order to bring the as yet unspoken new album to its greatest potential The Nephilim
have signed with German record company SPV - who have worked with the band
worldwide for the past 15 years and handle a wide range of leading international artistes.
Naturally, SPV are ecstatic about the deal. As A & R man Gero Herrde puts it:
'We are very pleased to be working together again with Carl and the band.
SPV look forward to the release of what we see as the best material ever produced by them.
It has all the elements of classic Fields of the Nephilim. It is hypnotic and inspiring, and out there in a league of its own.'

And having been privileged to hear it ourselves, the Watchman can confirm that the
wait has been worth it. There is no way that it will not confirm to Watchers
old and new that Fields of the Nephilim rank as one of the
most unique and remarkable bands ever to come out of Britain.
Keep watch for further details on release dates, live appearances, etc,
which will be revealed here first on The Nephilim official website.
sounds like a crock of PR s**t to me ;)

hint: using the opera browser lets you cut & paste and nicely circumvents their ridiculously paranoid code protection ;)

Also, don't you wish they'd talk properly.

And not refer to themselves in the third person.

smiscandlon also disapproves of that. :D

Alas the Nephilim site hasn't been updated for many months, and I was so looking forward to that album release in "early 2005".

The words are in English.

But the sentence apparently isn't.

the first time I saw The Neff it was worse than a Sisters gig, smokewise, all I remember is a few machine heads and a leather clad hand clutching a microphone and stand poking through the fug, so although you may get to see them, you may not actually get to see them

The rumour earlier this year was that there would be a single released in the summer and the album in the autumn, so this kind of fits in with that. I would love to see Carl on tour!

Just noticed that the nephilim site isnt entirely dead. You used to be able to attempt to log in to the watchman area, now they dont allow you and have stated "We are currently in the process of updating our servers,
until then Members will not be able to login."
