I need to check with Gary about the actual date of the gig, but in the meantime they are here, for your listening edification and viewing pleasure:

They're in Apple QuickTime format, and they should stream and start playing immediately, however I'm still finding my way around "Cleaner" so they may not. :urff:

If not, apologies for the length of time they will take to "begin" playing :?

However, they're worth the wait :D

Thanks for all your patience during the last few technically-troubled weeks. More goodies will follow... 8)

1) Thank you tres much
2) Why are they streaming!?
3) Is this really "Sisters Chat"?

1) :D

2) ease of download - and so that people can start viewing while its still coming down. streaming media is the future ;)

also, they're fairly big files and not everyone has broadband.

its easy enough to work out the filename (view source in the popup) and download the mov yourself anyway. in fact there's an option in quicktime that allows you to cache downloaded movies - view one then look in your temp internet files folder - it should be in there for you to copy out ;)

3) you'd prefer i rename it "sisters-related chat"?

the forum area names arent specifically designed to limit or restrict information, they're designed to group it and make it easier for people to find ;)

people that are interested in sisters chat may find it interesting, and there is a sisters connection.

so yes. it is sisters chat. :von:

Yeah, but it's QuickTime.. Real I can understand vaguely, cause I can use Media Player Classic to play those files, but QuickTime leaves so much in the registry and is just a bloody awful program.

I'll wait until someone makes an mpeg version.

it IS an mpg.

download it and rename it to mpg - its entirely up to you.

the joy of quicktime is that you can encode a movie to stream itself. you dont need epxnsive hardware or dedicated (proprietary) streaming servers

just download the fuckers and watch them :o

jeezus. makes you wonder why you bother sometimes...

I wouldn't know, though, Quiffy, I tend to avoid movs.
But cheers anyway.

Wasn't really aimed at QB only but anyone who had the same problems trying to save the Videos and resolved them,I'm no expert and found the help i'v' got in the past by asking a "stupid"question a big help, possibly others have too?,I'll keep trying and who knows, might even be an expert one day.

can play (as posted elsewhere) but can't save them as file for later viewing and they do take their time to kick in

I'm not complaining though!

Yes - I'm playing them on Quicktime 6.5.2 after having downloaded them (they played fine as streaming vids using the Quicktime plugin for Firefox as well).

Can't get them playing on anything over than Quicktime, mind, whether I change the file extension or not.

Quicktime is fine. You just need the Pro Version.

Go to google and type "quicktime pro serial". This usually helps

Anything you then need to keep, just right(or option)-click and "Save as Source".

*That* is where it pisses all over Realplayer :D
