Whilst Photoshop is very probably one of the finest and most powerful pieces of software ever writen, I wouldn't say it was the best tool in the world for re-editing badly dithered animated GIF's....
I'll have a go though.

Shrinking it has overcome the bad dithering that mik pointed out...
100x100 pixels and just under 40K (40345 bytes. 40K is 40960 bytes.)

@mrsRJ -did you get your/mark's jaffa cake from a site specialising in food-with-faces (eg."virgin mary's face on my spotted dick.com") or am i the first to notice it? (in which case i proclaim it's likeness to be that of the shropshire-born Ned Ludd:destroyer of machinery and littleknown fan of smashing orangey-bits in the middle.)

I'd like to ask if someone could help me out photoshopwise too
I'd like to paste the MR logo from the MR site together (which I already did:
clicky), but the
animated part becomes un-animated whenever I paste it in with whatever program I have
Could anyone help me out with that, and resize it to 176x220 for me please (just through adding borders to the top and the bottom, and make it smaller afterwards)

A combo of Photoshop and Imageready.
Which I wouldn't advise
buying (
) as it's damn expensive if all you want to do is resize images...

Now I can make my Sisters-k750 theme even better

I wondered if there is a reason why whenever I resize images they become all edgy and less sharp whereas your resized image remains well... Perfect... Is that just because I use an amateur program, or

Photoshop does something called "bicubic resampling". I have little-to-no idea what it means.

depends. if its "true colour" then it can anti-alias the resizing/resampling, so that the new edges "fade" between the colours on either side (have a quick google for "anti alias")
however, if its a gif or whatever it only has 256 colours to work with, so any areas that would have been anti-aliased and fuzzy and up harsh and jagged - it isnt able to create edges with all the colours it requires to best-guesses, usually badly.
if its a gif and you're using something like paint shop pro try upping the colour depth/number of colours in the image before resizing...
photoshop is good enough to take care of this automatically

I don't have photoshop on my pc so I work with combinations of ACDSee, MS Photo Editor and Paint
With results like my avatar: Hardly readible text
Interesting stuff you tell nevertheless
