Yesterday was fantastic, today was extreme. How do we sleep in this heat?
Us Brits are not born for these weather conditions.
you can now all go off and talk about Tim's new hair-do

There's a storm a-comin' - that's for sure.

We had our storm a few days ago and since then its been sunny but with a really nice breeze so even
I can enjoy the weather
Mind you - not sure about today .....spent in bed (sleeping, reading and drinking tea
) with the curtains closed until 4pm. But when I finally got up it was still sunny and still just balmy so I'll reckon it was like that most of the day

Well, if it's going to get hot on your little island, I'll consider moving my arse that way

I think you're probably right
Enjoy your holiday

I'll do my best
Very first time I'm going on one of those lazy arse sun holidays, normally I rather go to see things, but as someone offered me to join (and I didn't have a clue what I could do otherwise) thought I might give it a try

Cool - take sun block
(always assuming you want to avoid a tan). We went to Tunisia a couple of years ago and went on a trip to the desert - 50 degrees and I still didn't get a tan
(that was also the trip we went to see Luke Skywalkers house
I don't think Pauls feet touched the ground the entire time we were there - the man was a blur running all over the place
)

'twas freezing cold at about 3am this morning with a crystal clear night sky -always a good sign of incoming "phew what a scorcher" weather.by 8.30 -9.00 it was well hazy as all the dew boiled off and then
scorchio! -too ferking warm fer me,so i spent all day whizzing my head off playing computer games

nothing special -flash pacman,a few different "snake" games, tetris of various sorts, video poker/roulette (for some reason i've gotten into non-gambling gambling games
) -just making up for my childhood when i couldn't afford to play arcade games so playing "flash" versions for free now.

I'll try to get a tan, but I'm taking sun block still, 'cause I need the protection. Got burnt as a child once, and now I've got some of those annoying spots on my back
Not getting a tan at 50 degrees is an art on itself too, I think
Quite surreal

Warm under strength non fizzy lager, vodka that is way below the European average, foul red wine, crap food, smells of drains, surley bar tenders and evil taxi drivers (he is a whole post on his own!!!).
Sorry if I kicked off there, but it was the worst holiday I have ever had.
At least I didn't get the sh
its and only because I was surviving on bags of crisp or chips, as the rest of the world call them.

My thoughts are just get as drunk as you can so that you can pass-out unless work tomorrow
Sleep naked and only a sheet and with your window open....lots of water next to the bed...good luck

It's been relitavely nice today - not too hot at all.
Sometime around 11pm it got STUPIDLY warm and humid though. Seems to be calming down a bit now though.

Oh bollocks to the pair of you. Today was wonderful! Lunch in the park again for me, marred only by somebody setting up their decks and treating the whole park to what I believe is now termed "old school dance". Still, it was a perfect night for cider on the balcony - hot and dark.
