Simon D (March Violets)

Simon Denbigh (aka Simon D & Simon Detroit) - singer with The March Violets and then The Batfish Boys

Now knows as "Nurse to the Doktor" - ie: he is in charge of the good Doktor Avalanche (along with a good deal of The Sisters' other electronic gubbins) for live gigs.

He must be a bit bored at the moment then, huh? Maybe he is busying himself making swords at his flat in Hyde Park, Leeds? ;D

I gather he's a thoroughly nice chap too...

Anyone got a website URL for him?

Credit for the Simon D photo by the way goes to the good person (people?) that runs this site: Figures In The Smoke

Some (sadly, out of date) info about the good Mr. Denbigh can be found on their site: http://pages.infinit.net/tristren/suppo ... nbigh.html

[edit]Actually, it looks like they stole the photo from the official site anyway!! [/edit]

As it says on the site:
The above image was taken by Dino P. It is Si on stage at the Mexico City show.
It is copyrighted to The Reptile House 1999
It has been used gratefully, but without permission.

If anyone has any more recent info let me know.

Glad Si's keeping himself busy and living his best life, but I hope by "the filthy thieving gits who just steal his art" he doesn't mean Rosie, Tom etc.
