Right then, Propellerheads have stopped making and supporting the 808/909/303 clone ReBirth and it's history.

However............... as a good-will gesture they've made the RB-338 available for free download. Basically you get a couple of 303's, an 808 and a 909 to play with.

I used to sit and twiddle with the demo till the time ran out, so off to play with this free full version.

To be honest I'm struggling myself, I was fine with the demo but I haven't even managed to get this installed yet. Maybe Dark or some tech-head can talk us through it...

you need a decent sound card (with "asio" drivers) though otherwise you will get serious "latency" (the gap between hitting a button and getting the sound back)

This program.

You download it via the Torrent, then burn the CD image (which is what you've downloaded) to a CD-R.

You then install it using the CD. I assume a CD Key is included, or found on the website, or unnecessary.

In any case, I severely wanted Propellorheads software. This will own.

I wanted LEGAL software.

For anyone who tried and struggled like meto install the original version pointed to, there's a different one there now. It's smaller but just minus some demo songs and which installed first time easily for me.
