that looks like an old person's handwriting, which would explain the spam -i can't imagine anyone under 60 buying it otherwise!

Oh, we eat spam sandiwiches every now and then...

Whenever we run out of other stuff to put on the sandwiches and really have nothing else

I have heard a (possibly apocryphal) story that various cannibal tribes have been persuaded to give up human flesh in favour of Spam due to the great similarity in the flavours.
