Listen to TSOM's The Last Magician Of Rational Thought.

The nice techno-bassline version of A Rock And A Hard Place will ease the pain.

When quoting someone, you should tell the world who said/wrote it from the beginning...
In this case, Terry Pratchett...

oh no, it's the pigs!

(do you want to attribute that one for me too?)

Well, everyone who recognised the quote knew where it was from, so why bother?

I bother because I can... and also because Pratchett is a genious who deserves to be credited... had it been a quote from someone I didn't like, I probably wouldn't have bothered... :)

If you don't like me bothering ... why bother?

No worries mate...

BTW, is it true that "suicide-kits" are sold in Belgium nowadays? For doctors only, whatever that means...

Heard it on the radio yesterday, and started thinking about what these kits might contain...

A picture of Britney Spears and a small knife perhaps??

No it's not suicide kits, but euthanasia kits  (and IIRC it is only in the planning stadium)

And I cannot see the use of the small knife when you have a copy of La Spears ready for instant heart failure.

On a more serious note... the euthanasia debate is going on for quite some time now in Belgium, and it seems they finally found a consensus about things. The Euthanasia-kit will be available for doctors only, for obvious reasons. When doctors do it, it is called euthanasia. When you do it, it is called first degree murder (and doctors allowed to do euthanasia is legit since a year or so in Belgium).

Wow, cyclical loop! Fair deal.

Sorry to Derail the Derailing, but talking of 'Singing' has anyone heard the new Charlotte Church song? Terrifying, disgusting, and the prime cause of severe bowel distress...

:urff:

That would be the "planning stage". That is to say, the period of time while they're still planning it, rather than the kind of stage that a band plays on.

Too true.

Mind you, back when she was starting out, she was a decent lass at the whole 'opera' thing. O'course, now she's tried to make it big.

That Charlotte Church has definitely had breast implants. She was totally flat-chested when she started her singing career.
