Now she´s not doing so much right now, her last collaboration was in the year 2003 helping whit her voice to one group called "Leeslem" in theyr album "Times" and the last new that I saw was:

Maggie on German TV tonight (Sep 17)
Tonight's "Ultimative Chartshow" with Oliver Geißen on RTL will feature a rundown of the 50 top selling acts from the 80s in Germany, including Maggie Reilly. The 180 minute show, recorded in May, starts at 9:15 PM (local time). Maggie will be performing Moonlight Shadow. [17-09-2005]

i know most people don't think much of Maggie, but i like her unique voice quite a lot and her music isn't anywhere close to the worst, at least it has a touch of originality in it, unlike most other (more popular?) female "artists".

And actually i like the song Moonlight Shadow.

And agree that her collaboration in VT was superb.

Sorry, I think Maggie Reilly was the worst that has ever happened to the Sisters :|

I know that Maggie does music quite diferent than the sisters but I think that she has a great voice......

and in doctor jeep, detonation, something fast ..... she did it really good
of course is my personal opinion.

just my personal opinion.
there are things I like and things I don't like so much. she may be very professional (which she obviously is), her voice could be good etc but I prefer those songs, particularly 'Something Fast' without her.
I'm not only a Sisters fan, I'm a fan of almost every single Sisters song or sound
but I'm not a fan of MR's backing vocals in the last mentioned song.
it's just my point of view, my hedonistic statement, not The Truth.

Moonlight Shadow is a Mike Oldfield tune from after his 'three good albums' period.
He then flipped his wig, got into exegesis and blanded out.
The revists to Tubular Bells have been sonic hell!

IMHO there was nothing bad about Ofra Haza (RIP :notworthy: )
Although I like the '83 version even more.

Ofra's support was not too bad in my opinion but I prefer the Sisters without female support.

Am I imagining things, or wasn't there a rumour that sometime around '87 or '88 that Von was planning a collaboration with Samantha Fox?

I'm sure I once read this somewhere... (possibly whilst asleep!)

There was indeed a rumour, although it was much more recent than that. The "news" even made it onto UK Channel 4 teletext! It turns out Andreas Bruhn had been doing some studio work for Sam Fox (apparently), which is how the Sisters connection came about.

Andreas worked on (co-wrote) the track Deeper on Samantha Fox's 21st Century Fox. I have no idea if the Sisters connection comes from that, though.
