have we had this one?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

You're all able to start bands, play gigs and release singles within hours and I've had to wait two years.

Apologies for the bitterness. If it wasn't for our incompetence, I'd be getting ready for our first gig, which was supposed to be tonight. It was cancelled because we had no time to practice, and so now we have to wait a few MORE months.

I dabble in http://zelderex.com/ - but it's VERY boring. Neopets is good, but you do lose all your street cred...
I'm gonna have to go back to Kingdom Of Loathing...

After extensive gigging around the pubs and clubs of London and two short UK tours, Soviet Sex have already released their debut single "Torrent" b/w "Hill Billy Stomp" & "In My Head" and anxiously await news of their UK chart position. The fact that my worldwide popularity now stands at a healthy '1' means that someone in Moscow must have bought it in error thinking it was some kind of Russian self-help Kama Sutra on CD. 8)

Nightmare Death Syndrome was a band I formed c.1997
Gav - geetar, heating and plumbing, talent and lawnmower deth
Raimey (ex Meteors*) - drumbago, Buckfast, bad skin and prone to saying "Whit Man?" all the time
James Blast - bass, bad cables, unwarrented abuse, strategy and design

we got as far as a soundcheck (15mins of rifferama) and two fuckin' great t-shirts

*FACT!

I once played in a three-piece (vocals/geetar - badly) called "The SwankS". The band name was painted on the base of the drum platform. The two S's were in the style of the Nazi SS, whereas the four letters in the middle were painted in luminous paint. Sometimes we'd just switch all the lights of and play in the dark. The only thing you could distinguish in the gloom, glowing prominately, probably summed up how good we were.
