seconded! Best gig of the tour, best gig in years
Must admit that I don't have all 2005 recordings, but I'm sure Lokeren is the one to go for...

For me Lokeren is the best one I've heard up til now too...
Odd, since at the gigs themselves I liked Tilburg better than Lokeren... Could be the recording though...

Yup. 1CD:
what do you think Mark...after listening to all the 2005 Summer shows i'm leaning towards Tilburg being almost as good as Lokeren...but Lokeren edges it

I´ve cheked all my 2005 shows(I´ve got all of them) and I still think that Tabor one has the better quality

but not my recording. Incidentally I noticed this on the tours.tsom site:
Leeds - pictures, links to pictures, link to short RealPlayer video clips, link to (crappy) recording of full gig
and
crappy incomplete recording. Click on "free" and wait for 30 seconds. 36.6MB WAV file, recorded with camera. Doesn't included On the Wire, Dominion, War on Drugs (the recorderer went for p*ss and to the bar during the songs). Recorded by Mark Wolstenholme.
Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it infamy!

By the way, any clues on when the rest of the gigs will get a mention on the tours site?

Scardy didn't record it as he got a copy of mine. He decided he wanted to be down the front for a change and not worry about recording it.

No, I only took 2 discs with me, the soundcheck had taken up one of them, so Scardy gave me his blank disc he was going to record the gig with as long as I gave him a copy of the gig, I agreed and off he went down the front to enjoy himself....
Old Sisters Tapes

Ok, I'm a newbie to this board (post#1) who hasn't been around for a while (wife, kids etc) so be gentle with me!
Are the Sisters only touring the European festivals nowadays? Or have I missed this year's UK dates? (I don't think I've missed a tour since Wembley Arena and would hate to start now!)
Also, where can i hear Uptown Top Ranking (and any other new songs since snubnose?)
More importantly, can anyone let me know the best way to transfer my Sisters boots from tape to MP3.
Cheers!

don't
they'll only shout at you for it...i'm not any expert but there's better ways of getting your tapes transfered to a lossless digital form...
