There's nothing more ironic than a bunch of goffs...dressing up!

What's everyone doing for this one? I'll be in Manchester, hitting a few clubs, and I've yet to pick a costume from a few available. Hopefully there will be some ridiculous pictures afterwards...

Anyone else going to be around t'big City?

Fraid not mate. God, it's blooming ages since I've been home. May I suggest Rock World?

Usual family halloween for me, ie pumpkin soup, 'scary' pumpkin face-making for the ankle-biters, and the newest addition, a 6-foot inflatable glow-in-the-dark Jack Skellington. 8) :notworthy:

i'm over in manc this weekend but won't be out and about in town i'm afraid :|

its jo's birthday this weekend so we're off watching mark burgess at bury met on friday, and then its a birthday meal/party type scenario on saturday.

not sure if its on this weekend but you'll have a much better time at "sin city" (downstairs @ the retro bar) on the satudray than cockworld :urff:

its usually the second and last saturday of every month... dunno if they're giving it a miss due to whitby though :?

I thought that Hallowe'en was supposed to be the one night a year when goffs went to bed early.

Go to bed when we damn well feel like it.

Where we like, as well

Rock World was on the cards, but will suggest Sin City - merci, Quiff. Hope you have fun with your mature evening in!

Movie night with beer and pretzels, that's what I'm gonna do with a couple of in-laws and mates.

On the list: Tremors, Braindead and Nightmare On Elm Street 1.

Also on the list: Lots of Jupiler, Stella and crisps.

November 1 will indeedy be a very nice day to visit graveyards... I'll fit right in

heehee...this year is going to be devilish! A group of us *adults* are going to get dressed up in scary outfits and we are going to scare the kids on the streets!

Jumping out of bushes and out of dark shadows and all the candy dropped from their frightened cries and fleeing, will be consumed in the privacy of our cave

I can only suggest you dress up as Billy the Goat, from that well-known goffik anthem by Bauhaus "Billy the Goat is Dead"

I'm refusing to take part, because in Belgium it's just nothing but a hype promoted by the shops since about 4 years...

I'll enjoy myself anyway, I'm sure ;D

one of our (intensely boring) neighbours who happened to get dragged along to the sisters at nec by his brother (thus giving him far to many excuses to strike up a conversation with me) asked where i was on the black oktober weekend. mrswhizzzkid told him that i was at a sisters of mercy fan convention to which he replied "Oh...do they all dress up as them and things like that?" ;D :innocent:

Well, the others are at least hyped for say over fifty years :innocent:

Christmas is the worst, the colours of his suit were invented by Coca-Cola...

But it's fun indeed, can't deny that

I shall be pouring a bucket of water out of an upstairs window over any little buggers who knock at my door. Unless they've got their mum with them and she's wearing black... :innocent:
