Return Of The Beaver
Over five centuries since they were hunted to the point of extinction, the semi-aquatic, dam-building mammal the beaver has returned to England.
A total of six European beavers have been released into the wild at Lower Mill Estate in Gloucestershire making them the first to roam wild in the English countryside for centuries and it looks likely that they may also be reintroduced to Scotland and Wales in the near future...
