Synchronicity

I went to work in the library today wearing my "Body and Soul" artwork T-shirt. (You know, the one with an illustration from Dante's "Inferno", although I can't remember which sin it was that condemns the guilty to be up to their nose in ice for all eternity.)

One woman stopped by to return a truckload of books on Dante's _Inferno_. First spooky thing.

Second spooky thing is that one of these books was called _Dante's Knot of Body and Soul_.

Third spooky thing: next guy had a bunch of books on Christopher Marlowe. (Didn't Von say that BaS is "about" Marlowe in some way?)

That is indeed very synchronous. I like these moments. It's a shame that the knot book was published in 1998, or else we'd be able to credit Von with reading something other than manga and t.s. eliot. Now, was there anything about the woman that indicated she could be a Sisters fan? (you can usually tell by the walk...)

Used to have a Joy Division t-shirt with Dante's Inferno on it. Could never work out why as it never appeared on any release art. Looked good though.

There was a JD bootleg around titled Dante's Inferno with that cover. Recorded in Bournemouth, 2/11/79.

I bought mine years ago, around 93 or 94. Haven't seen any since. Oh yes, I have the one with the yellow sleeve 8)

The Dante's Inferno image looks like a William Blake painting, I can'y locate it right now.
