All over bar the shouting...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Looks like that's it for another year and no UK tour dates.
If the DVD sees the light of day next year I suppose "new product" might entice the promotors.
The glass is definitely half empty at the moment. I'm beginning to think Von & Co. have somewhat shot their bolt - probably back around December '93.

The dry ice cleared and lo! The feet were made of clay.

sadly, i think your right, if, during the 93-96 period von spent less times hanging round bars taking crystal meth, drinking vodka, and trying to appear cooler than a snowmans bollocks, then maybe, just maybe we'd have had another record by now, as the record companies may have actually taken an interest if he had created some 'product' and said 'E/W can't have it, but you can, at a price' instead of 'i'm too sexy for this record contract'...

just a thought...

and i think the dvd fill be the final swansong of a dying band, at best a live gig and extra features bolted on, more likely simply a wake rev 2.0.

ho hum.
