Hi there
Just returned home after seeing Bauhaus in Minneapolis....what a show! Anyone who has not already got there tickets for the UK tour should have a rethink. It was very different to the Resurrection tour, a lot less theatrical, more stripped down..and the venue (State Theatre) was the perfect place for the Bauhaus experience....a 1920's vauderville/picture palace.
My wife was over the moon as she got Kevins drum sticks from the show...autographed!
We were definately seen by the people of Minneapolis as a bit of a novelty.... I think we were the only English people in the city, and at one point mistaken for coming from Iceland!
Anyway, enjoy the upcoming shows

The ones I can remember are below...possibly not in the right order. The songs they chose differed quit a lot from the Resurrection shows, with some more obscure choices

I'm glad "Bela Lugosi's Dead" is being played last as I fear I may die of excitment whan I hear it live and would hate to miss the rest :lol: .

Without wishing to rain on your parade Ms Emily, I will warn you in advance that Alexandra Palace is the worst venue in London by a long shot. I saw The Stripes there last November and apart from the mile walk up the hill (take your trainers and change) from the train station in the rain (that always gets you in gig mode) it's in the middle of nowhere. On a hill. Hence the captive market price of £3.00 for a bottle of water at the bar. Which nobody needed as the place has no heating. I think the cloak room made about 50p that night. The acoustics are sh!t as well. You're welcome. :wink:
