Well, I think this is the best sounding version of 'Good Things' I've come across so far anyway. Comments?

It's a FLAC file. If this exceeds the number of downloads allowed I'll repost it!

Best quality I've heard of this. What's the source?

For when the Send It link runs out. Please try that first before downloading this. :

www.cellthree.co.uk/files/goodthings.flac 23mb

I'll host it for a few days or until my bandwidth becomes too heavily used. I had to rename it coz my host is a Linux server and I can't be arsed to p*ss around with upper and lower case files names and stuff.

You're all welcome, of course!

This is actually the Peel Session version from the digital radio broadcast a while back, straight from a digibox to CDR. Purists will argue that means there's some sound compression in the food chain, but in the absence of an official release (of anything) this stereo version gets my vote!

I've now got 8 out of the 12 sessions in digital quality, come on BBC6...

Earlier this year, I forget exactly when! I'd lost the CDR for ages but found it again when digging about the other night...

Really?

Should you 'borrow' from the 'Common People' thread (© Johnny M ™)?

Mine and Mr Cocker's lawyers are watching.

Intently.

As requested, the rest of the session from the same broadcast:

1969

Floorshow / Alice

http://s54.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0A8T ... KMT2WXNVQT

Floorshow has a glitch at the beginning and the BBC decided to make them run into each other for this broadcast... :x

Still sounds good though!

Great archival work - thanks - but I must say I'm not impressed by the song. If it weren't for Von's trademark voice, I'd have taken this for a rather lackluster Red Lorry Yellow Lorry piece.

I guess tracks are generally 'unreleased' for a reason! But this is a good track:

Alice (Peel Session, from a different digital rebroadcast)
