Yep, a long way to go. Particulary with her by your side. But worth it I feel.

Discuss or ignore.

You mean they released an album? I thought they were just a novelty band chasing after the title of Silliest Song Ever. And they almost succeeded. :innocent:

Goes off to find Love.

nirvana's not as crap as revolution -all the others are cool....but black angel's the best drunken sing-along-chorus (especially the change at the end).

Yes, it's my favourite track on the album and perhaps my favourite Cult track.

  'Nirvana' is corking. They opened with it in 95 at Bradford - I almost shot my wad. :notworthy: Think they played Love as well. :notworthy:

Black Angel and Hollow Man ARE the standout tracks off the album though. Shame it all went tits-up a few years later.

Best Cult gig I saw - supporting GNR at Milton Keynes in 93 - in the p1ssing rain - short but heavy as fcuk set. Ace. 8)

Bought the recentish Live dvd...and promptly gave it away. :urff:

ahh...but i still enjoy it Dave :innocent:

i thought that i could get away without posting on a Cult thread...seems that i'm blighted again...

Nirvana is a corker for a live opener...and Big Neon Glitter has it's moments live too...but alas like Mistress EmmS i too have suffered at the hands of a couple of local cover pub bands completely fcuking up Sanctuary...

gonna go and sit in a corner now

*gets hat and coat...brrrr cold outside*

F**k me, it was you wasn't it! Lovely, I had clean forgot who had been the recipient of that dvd, other than 'someone on here'.

Cool, glad it found a good home. Pardon my memory, people who know me (to any extent, Delilah :innocent:  ) know to tolerate my lapses of concentration.  Or at least understand them.

Pleasure to have blighted you so. indirectly or otherwise.

Love is definately in my all time top 5 albums of all time, but for me Black Angel lets the album down.

Every other track on Love is so good (plus the b-sides of that era) that I fail to see how they came up with such a stinker as Black Angel.

20 years ago....... WOW

Actually a great year for albums.

F&L&A
What DOes Anything Mean Basically
Meat is Murder
Psychocandy
Love
World Service
This Nations Saving Grace
Songs to Learn & Sing (Not a 'real' album granted)

I still listen to them all on a regular basis.
