The sellers name rings a bell!
Bidding on ebay boots always seemed a bit daft to me - I'm sure all these are being traded..

bah...the only thing i had to trade that is not in the weeding section...is now in the weeding section!
wait a minute- why don't you weed them (as i'm sure you'll keep the originals and i'm happy with dvd-r's
)

well they're still up for grabs...and at £16 they're stonking value
can't say that i'd want them all (already have a couple

really? i'ld have thought that they would have been made out of rocking horse sh
it!
you know what i mean
Luke-no stick-on labelly-bits; or laser-copied sleeves...the sort of thing that only a low-life could/would sell on ebay.

the sort of thing that only a low-life could/would sell on ebay.
on the otherhand, if it wasn't for that low-life then only a few lucky people
would have had access to all early sisters footage
, 1st and 2nd gen
same went for kenny giles etc
every cloud...

i was on about being personally happy with dvd-r
copies of these dvd boots and it should perhaps be made clear that i was aiming "low-life" at people who sell weeds on ebay and therefore make money out of other peoples goodwill (as has been known in the past) not bootleggers/traders who get their recordings elsewhere.
anyway -i misread
djpasskall's post as "just got those dvd's" and as an offer to trade them, not
for them.

NOw then, I DO know the seller, he has bought several VHS tapes off me, and im not debateing the rights and wrongs of selling dvd-r at high prices, but I will say as long as he has decent DVD equipment then the quality of his DVDs will be very good.
BTW Long beach 85 and stuttgart 84 are both RUBBISH to watch.
The Clip of emma from paradiso 83 is lovely, and Berlin 83 is the best sisters video EVER !!!

you should've just weeded them in the first place, then we wouldn't have to worry about this thread ya tight wad

well some of those tapes I paid between 20 and 30 quid for, so knocking them out at substantially less is fair dues in my book.
and anyway i have weended stuff out so quit wingeing.

matt - just out of interest, did you do the dvd encodes or just sell him copies of your tapes ?

I sold him my original tapes that I had bought at the record fairs, admittedly most that he bought from me were 1990 - onwards gigs.

82 quid for a 20p dvd
Some misguided European with too much money no doubt.
