Anybody interested in a NMA ticket for Nottingham Rock city on the 14th? I have a spare ticket as my girlfriend doesn't see the appeal of NMA :!: I know grounds for dumping her, but as we've booked the wedding venue don't think it would go down to well

So if you're interested PM me and we can arrange to meet at the gig and I'll hand over the ticket. It's FREE, although you may have to buy me a pint

Agreed... I had my doubts about Marshall, right up untill he started playing "Vagabonds"
They were good in Leeds last night too, as were NYAAA. I think that chameleons bloke is the only bad support they had on this tour!

Fuckin' heresy!
Was sat next to Eldritch in the Fenton before the gig; he sends everyone his regards, as does RoboChris :)

We were in the 'snug' bar (turn immediately left before the second set of doors).

He was in a pair of massive 'lift' boots with a grey hoody top and a cream England beanie hat pulled right down over his ears.

We weren't really in conversation but we exchanged amused eyebrow raises when a young Chinese bloke tried selling us all bootlegged DVDs and hard core Japanese pornography.....

seconded- i wasn't massively keen on the tunes but they weren't bad- and he has to be one of the genuinely loveliest unassuming people in the rock business...he was apologising for having to charge for his cd's.:notworthy:

Perhaps you were too busy dipping your head in a bucket full of porridge and moaning about the hospital parking scheme? ;)

Saw them at Newcastle last week, as good as I've seen since the late 80's. They seem to have gone more rock orientated, with a tight and loud rhythm section.
I still get irked by the need to pass on a political 'message' at every opportunity, but they sound amazing when they really get going.

no support to speak of though, had hoped for mark burgess.
