Video Camera

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. I am gonna ask for a Video Camera for my birthday, but the only thing is I don't know much about them.

I presume there are some people on here that own a Video Camera so maybe you could recommend some?

I will be using it mainly for filming general messing around but I also plan to film music videos. I don't know much about zoom specs but I would like it to have a good zoom (lol), not to expensive but not some cheap piece of rubbish.

I will be making DVDs out of what I film so it would need to have USB stuff. If anyone could find a package online that includes the camera, USB wires, software etc, that would be great!

Any help is appreciated,
