this corrosion college mix - real differencies

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

sorry, if this has been discussed before....

i just listened to this version and wanted to ask, which real differencies you could make out.

after remastering the only real difference i could find is the 2 short female vocal parts ("call", and " na na na na na") - everything else seems to be the common 11+ mins version - especially i am sure that the kind of raw, bass driven sound is caused by bad recording/copying processes only

as sisters fans we know how many recordings got a little atmosphere added by distortion caused by copying a tape much too often (e.g jolene from the peel sessions - i prefer to listen to the common, slightly distorted version than to the real clean version....)

i did mix these vocal parts into the official version (which sounds fine), but would like to have all "new" parts included - thats why i ask. thx

for those with an ear for he finer details:

this is this corrosion in its floodland incarnation, including the 2 small female vocal samples from the college version mixed into it - a total of 4 seconds of "new" parts, starting at 4.36 . also basses were lifted to simulate the college version-feeling. thats it.
