It was "Re: Pineapple synoptical" from "Kibwe Torre" that did it...

I have long marvelled at the sheer inventiveness of these people who plague my inbox, flogging their viagra and such like.

Rheinallt Le Fever wants to talk to me "Re: Cokkie situated"
Coralee Alia cuts to the chase with - "You look old, make Urself look younger how whom back back"
Berthold Nicholas delightedly informs me that he (or perhaps she?) "Feels Biggeer"
Willard Arnett offers to "Chill up your life" with a valium or ten
Vonda Truong is replying to a mail I apparently sent her entitled "Best sex of my life"
Ritva Snow is "Looking forward to romantic getaway" with me "...again"   !!! :urff:

And best of all, Gerrard Allred assures me I will have "no morre erectiion prblems".

Now there's a relief!

I have a filter (provided by my operator) but I still get a couple of spams every day

And when I check on my old address I even get hundreds every day, glad I don't use that one regularly anymore

But your first post was really great, boudicca  :notworthy:  :notworthy: :lol

What's with all the spelling mistakes? Every email title seems to have an intentional (and disgraceful) error. Is it to make the mail robots seem more human since internet LOL-speak itself has rendered proper writing redundant? :?

Still funny tho'...

But I'm always communicating with Johnny Foreigner... :P :innocent:

(Really, I see the most spelling mistakes in e-mails from people who allegedly speak English as their first language... :von: )

Spam filters use word recognition. If an e-mail contains too many "bad" words the mail gets seen as spam and treated accordingly. Changing the spelling of a word is just another sneaky way of getting past the anti-spam filters.

I hate spam. Almost as much as I hate clients complaining about it.

I'm pretty fond of the Nigerian business guys, who get persecuted by their corrupt regime and offer me a few million dollars if I help them shifting their money out of the country. :P

Oh, my Spam friends are starting to send me stories :D
Krzys Galarza - Re: Volumeter Rosetate wrote:them. They have no choice. They cannot go back to the inn, for strangers are seen instantly, and even though we are far away and the steel band is loud, the explosion was certainly heard by the guards posted outside. They will report it. Listen to me, said Bourne, his voice hoarse, tense. One of those three people is the man I want, and I want him for myself! So hold your fire because Ill know him when I see him. I dont give a damn about the others; they can be flushed out of that cove later. There was a sudden burst of gunfire from the tropical forest accompanied by screams from the once floodlit corridor beyond the ruins of the chapel. Then one after another the figures raced out of the tangled brush into the path. The first to be caught was the blond-haired police officer from Montserrat, the waist-high invisible fishing line

As a navigator, he was no Captain Bligh sailing by the Pacific stars, but he was good enough to stay out of trouble. He was told to go out alone, said Bourne. Ordered to rendezvous with a boat in waters that called for him to really keep his eyes on the
