A sad time of year for some

A sad case>

A guy I've know for years in the town where I live has a very bad reputation with people and not entirely all his doing.

He had a very volitile and complex relationship with Mary for eleven years on and off.She trapped him and she got herself pregnant in the early stages of the relationship eleven years ago.

If they had an argument she would ring the police and say that he hit her and of course he would be arrested and taken to court. He alway's went back with her!

Last feb they had an argument again and she rang the police, but this time the situation was much worse. She had him arrested and he was tagged, put on probation and he was had up for drink driving because she provoked him by saying she has a toyboy.Obviously they split up, but the only way he copes with problems is to drink to blot out his problems. He lost his job with a top racehorse trainer because he never turned up for work.He went on the p*ss for six months

He finally regained his confidence and started having a relationship and forgot about Mary,He got off the drink until i believe Mary heard about his new relationship.

Last friday Mary had a car accident and she needed to be looked after and the first person she called was Simon to go and look after her.
So the fool he went to look after her and her son.He done this for several day's until he got so annoyed because he looked at her phone and this guy Love Doctor sent her a text saying he will be with her soon.

All he kept saying to Mary were "Why call me at the hospital and not Love Doctor"

Last tuesday he lost the plot and had a few drink's and had a big argument with her over this "Love "dOCTOR"

He's a weak character and now he's lost his way completely because i get the feeling that he desperately wants to let go of Mary, but he just can't and she is a complete control freak! She doesn't want him and she doesn't want him to have anyone else.Very sad because she has spread rumours around where i live that aren't true. His family and friend's have told me otherwise.I told him straight as he's my friend that she will destroy you! Fatal attaction?

I went to see him last night and he's back on the drink and very depressed.People like to judge but I would like to help him find his way again. It could happen to anyone and i like to help my friend's out.

He can't let go after eleven years!

There must be alot of troubles souls in the world. It makes it even more sadder because it's Christmas!

I'll be happy if our psychologist on Hl (PIB) could reply as he's very good you know! :notworthy:

Virgin birth?

The moral of the story: If you don't want a kid, keep your dick in your pants.

Not quite. I can think of a "moral of the story" that works much better all round.

If you want to help your friend get him off the boose and try to talk some sence into him. Don't feel sorry for him; that won't help....

Good luck...

I'm proud of myself for being Florence Nightingale for one week!

I've lost patience because they won't help themselves and if you not careful they can drag you under with them.So I might just have to let him sink!

They have no problems compared to some people in the world, but they fail to understand because they're so wrapped up in their chain of pain.I believe it's a form of selfishness!

Surprising how many people have/had an alchoholic problem. My former headmaster at my prep school had one, but he seeked help and were a councillor for alchoholic's in the local area until his death a few weeks ago.
