Izzy HaveMercy wrote:OR it could very well be that the people from the record store took a drum skin to a Sisters Gig in England, got it signed, but did not put the date on.

When the seller was given it in 1989, they probably did remember that the signature were Andrew's and Marx', but did not remember the exact date (1989 not being a good time for looking at the Sisters Gigography, since it prolly did not exist ;) ).

So they said 'uhhh, it was five years ago, somewhere October/November... errrr... just put something on there. He won't remember all the dates anyway. He ain't THAT big a fan'.

Et voilà...

We all bow to the Belgians logic. :notworthy:

Personally I'd probably prefer amphetamine logic. Or rather just amphetamine. Can you smoke, snort or inject logic? I think not.

Moving swiftly on ...

So as not to offend our Belgian cousins I did go to www.dictionary.com just to be sure about the spelling as I always get the 'i' in the wrong place. :urff:

It presented me with this 'interesting' fact about Belgium:

Merchant marine:
Total: 23 ships (1,000 GRT or over) totaling 42,055 GRT/56,842 DWT
ships by type: bulk 1, cargo 9, chemical tanker 6, liquefied gas 2,
oil tanker 5.

Monty Python got it right first time. :innocent:

All the Belgians I know are really fab. Honestly. And ... umm ... really interest ... inters ... inte ... zzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's just to remind tourists to NOT EVER drink Dutch beer
