I got it. Good movie. Never seen it in the theatre, though Lincoln's too appallingly bad for anything that good to come here.

That depends on whether grown men in corsets is your idea of hope or not, doesn't it? ;)

sorry, but its just rubbish, and not very well made rubbish IMO

They never really expected it to be popular at all, hence the low budget, IIRC.

Anyway, what's wrong with corsets?

i'm with mr blast on this one -the rocky horror show, picture or otherwise, is fuckin' abyssmal. :urff:
i hate all musicals as a rule -the exception to which being "the wizard of oz"; and even that would be improved by cutting out the songs.
years ago i used to go out with a girl from manchester who was obsessive about the rocky horror and i was put off it for life -and girls from manchester funnily enough.

The Rocky Horror Show is a classic, I went to see it in Edinburgh years ago in the Playhouse/Kings(?), it was a great night, what a fuckin' laugh, if entered to in the right spirit it a superb night out.

Agreed. Although they do kill meatloaf in the film, so at least some good came of it.

I think it was about 87ish, and you're right, it was the Playhouse.
I think the guy from the "Crystal Maze" was in it, and aye, it was a great night, audience participation at it's best, I was wondering why people were taking in bags with slices of toast and news papers in   .

which would be Richard O'Brien, who also wrote it.

Rocky Horror always seemed to me to be nothing more than an acceptable reason for fuckwit rugby players and their ilk to wear suspenders. Not that everyone who enjoyed it/saw it was necessarily a fuckwit rubgy player, but you get my drift - it allowed the usually intolerant to accept (in themselves, for an evening) that which they despised in others.

NB (just to be clear) - I'm sure that everyone on this forum who enjoyed it was not in that subsection of people

Well, it still works for this fuckwit ex-rugby player.
