And Andy Fordham was knocked out in the first round by Simon Whitlock, an Australian bloke with really interesting hair.

:D
Yeah, me and the missus were just amazed by it - it was like a really long mullet (nearly to his bum - as my 4 year old daughter said!).

Still, we were gutted that Andy Fordham was knocked out (as well as Ted Hankey) :(

My missus also got quite irate that the women's darts is not as high scoring as the men's ("she scored 7 : f**king 7 points - and she calls herself a darts player! 7 points!! And she's f**king ugly")

The wife is so refined........ ;D

Yeah, he lost 3-1. He didn't really show up and never got into any sort of rhythm.

Essers looked OK, but I think that anyone could have beaten Ted (who looked gutted at the end).

Mind you, my grandmother could have beaten Andy Fordham - and she died in 1979!

A darts thread. :D Nice one Iz. :notworthy: The next HL bash / pre-Sisters gig meet-up HAS to be in a pub with a darts board. A pool table would be nice too, but I'll settle for darts.

Good arrah.
